Edmonton Fashion Graduate Profile: Mikaela Supple

Growing up, Mikaela had never thought about pursuing a career in the Fashion Industry. This changed when she took part in MC College’s Beauty Apprentice program where she helped style models backstage for the New Designers Fashion Show.

The experience resonated with her and left her wanting more. Since then, she has helped backstage at Suka Clothing and Sessa Wearables.

From asymmetrical silhouettes to paint splatters, the collection, “Think!”, incorporates a mix of rebellion and an appreciation for art.

The garments feature a utilitarian school girl theme contrasted with chiffon fabric, and a colour palette of neutrals and pastels.
